Philips premieres the Cinema 21:9

Altus Communications, the exclusive distributor of Philips Audio-Video-Multimedia (AVM) products in the Philippines, announced the arrival of Philip’s sophisticated Full High Definition (HD) television in Philippine shores – the Cinema 21:9.

A film buff’s ultimate entertainment system, the 56-inch LCD boasts of a stunning 2560 x 1080 progressive (p) panel resolution and allows viewers to watch their favorite movies in its original movie format of 21:9 (or 2.39:1) – without distortions, without missing movie elements, and without irritating black bars on the screen.

The first and only TV created to let viewers see, experience, and appreciate motion pictures exactly the way film directors intended them to, the Philips Cinema 21:9 gives a genuine cinematic experience in the comfort of your own home. Another innovative feature is the Philip’s patented Ambilight Spectra 3 which makes screen colors “spill over” the screen.
